Collective labour agreement and cooperation with trade unions
UMCNL supports the UMCs with a number of overarching tasks. Among other things, we are responsible for the collective labour agreement and terms of employment for all UMC employees. Together with the trade unions, UMCNL negotiates conditions such as salaries and working conditions, after which the agreements are worked out together with the trade unions in the UMC collective labour agreement.
Policies regarding work
In addition to the collective labour agreement, we are working on various programmes and projects to improve and stimulate the working conditions of UMC employees. This gives UMC employees the tools they need to address future health issues such as the increasing demand for care. This includes strengthening the authority and position of nurses and adjusting the curriculum for medical students so that they also receive training in prevention.
