Protocol (Prevention of) Transgressive Behaviour

Healthcare professionals and patients must feel safe and be able to function in a safe environment at university medical centres. To guarantee this, an active prevention policy has been put in place to prevent inappropriate behaviour.

By unacceptable behaviour, we mean any form of undesirable verbal, non-verbal or physical behaviour that has the purpose or effect of violating a person’s dignity. To prevent unacceptable behaviour, a prevention policy has been drawn up and laid down in the protocol (Prevention of) unacceptable behaviour.

Each umc is responsible for developing its own, more detailed protocol in line with the protocol established under the collective labour agreement. With the detailed protocol, umc’s align themselves with local policy and local initiatives and regulations.
