Nurses Innovate & Professionalise (VIP)

The VIP programme will be completed at the end of 2022. In the VIP programme, university medical centres worked closely together to improve career development and job differentiation. The specific results can be found on this page.

The labour market is becoming increasingly tight, particularly in the healthcare sector. This makes the following two questions all the more important: how can we make the nursing profession even more attractive, and how can we retain nurses for our university medical centres?

The UMCs have addressed these questions jointly, within the UMCNL association. The result: opportunities for horizontal career paths and attractive, professional basic nursing positions for all UMCs.
